Accessibility Statement
Last updated
We want everyone to be able to use glenwrightdigital.com, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen readers, zoom, or reduced-motion settings.
The standard we aim for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG 2.2 includes everything in WCAG 2.1, the level most accessibility laws reference.
What we've done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- The contact form has visible labels, says which fields are optional, and explains any error next to the field it belongs to.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations don't play. The illustration at the top of the home page also has a pause button and stops on its own after a few plays.
- Pages reflow to a single column on narrow screens and at high zoom, without scrolling sideways.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
We don't use accessibility "overlay" widgets. The site is built to be accessible in the first place.
How it was tested
We checked the site with keyboard-only navigation, at phone, tablet, and desktop widths, with reduced motion turned on, and by measuring color contrast. We haven't yet completed a full test with a screen reader, and we plan to.
Known limitations
- Spam check: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. It's made by Cloudflare, so we can't change how it works. If it gives you trouble, email us instead.
- Booking calls: the "Book a free 15-minute call" link opens Cal.com, a separate scheduling service with its own accessibility. If it doesn't work for you, email us and we'll set up the call directly.
